CYBERA names Glennon senior vice president of marketing and strategy

Nashville, Tenn., Nov. 1, 2006 — Private networking provider Cybera Inc. has named Dan Glennon senior vice president of marketing and strategy.
Glennon brings 18 years of consulting, sales and marketing experience to his new role. He was most recently senior director of customer lifetime value management at BellSouth Telecommunications. He served as principal at Diamond Management & Technology Consultants, where he led the development and management of intellectual capital for the telecom/high tech vertical. Glennon’s sales and marketing experience also includes positions with Intel Corp.’s Internet and Communications Group and Avdata Systems Inc., a data network service provider.
“Dan has tremendous experience, knowledge and leadership abilities building customer-centric organizations,” said Cliff Duffey, Cybera’s chairman, chief executive officer and president. “His talent will be invaluable as we undertake the next phase of Cybera’s development.”
Cybera recently announced $12 million in new venture capital to finance its growth plans.
Glennon earned a bachelor’s in engineering from Vanderbilt University, a master’s in electrical engineering from University of South Florida and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
