CYBERA adds regional Mid Atlantic director of sales

Nashville, Tenn., July 25, 2006 — Private networking provider Cybera Inc. has named Chris Bonavita regional director of sales for the Northeast and Middle Atlantic.
In this role, Bonavita will specialize in providing private networking as a managed service (DSL to T-3) to specialty retailer, quick serve restaurants and c-store verticals with more than 25 locations. He will hire and oversee a team of eight sales representatives covering a 12 state territory. Bonavita is also opening an office in the Philadelphia area.
Bonavita has more than a decade of experience in the telecommuncations industry. He was most recently national alliance manager for EVault, an online data protection services provider. Bonavita’s career also includes serving as a sales director with Qwest Communications and as vice president of sales and marketing for American Technology Corp.
Bonavita served in the United States Air Force for 11 years prior to launching his civilian career.
“Chris has extensive telecommunications industry experience in a number of environments,” said Cliff Duffey, Cybera’s chairman, chief executive officer and president. “His expertise will be key as Cybera moves forward.”
Earlier this year, Cybera announced $12 million in new venture capital to finance its growth plans.
