Press ReleasesCybera Ranks in Inc. 5000 List for Third Consecutive YearNASHVILLE, TN —October 5, 2009— Cybera®, a leading managed service provider of security and network solutions, announced it has been named to the 2009 Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America. This recognition represents the third consecutive year Inc. has named Cybera to the list, which measures revenue growth for U.S.-based, privately held, independent companies. First appearing on the inaugural Inc. 5000 list in 2007, Cybera has since experienced considerable growth primarily due to its continued innovation and market success with managed security and network solutions in the merchant space. Despite challenging economic conditions, which have had pronounced effects on Cybera’s target market, the growth of Cybera’s customer base has risen steadily. Primarily focused on merchant industries, Cybera serves the distributed enterprises of leading brands such as Shell Oil, Chick-fil-A and O’Reilly Auto Parts. A common need among these firms is payment and information security – solutions in which Cybera excels. The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and its associated compliance requirements are driving the demand for Cybera’s compliance, Security as a Service, secure connectivity and payment gateway solutions. “It’s an honor to be recognized for the third consecutive year for our outstanding growth – especially given the state of the economy and general business environment,” said Cliff Duffey, Cybera CEO and President. “We further define our success by the thousands of branded enterprise locations that have deployed our solutions over the past several months. We’re pleased that our growth comes from both new customers and the expansion of the solutions we provide to existing customers. All merchants need to protect consumer and corporate information while achieving or maintaining PCI-DSS compliance. This is the challenge leading them to choose Cybera’s comprehensive yet simplified solutions for the increasingly complex tasks of networking and security.” The Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2005 through 2008. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by the first week of 2005, and therefore able to show four full calendar years of sales. Businesses must be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent -- not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies -- as of December 31, 2008. Revenue in 2005 must have been at least $200,000, and revenue in 2008 must have been at least $2 million.
