Cybera's Board of Directors is comprised of an elite team of individuals with many years of experience and a proven track records of success.

CLIFF DUFFEY, DIRECTOR Cliff Duffey has served as President and CEO since founding Cybera in February, 2001. Prior to Cybera, Duffey was Chief Technology Officer at Bluestar Communications, overseeing engineering, network operations, product development, and business development. In 1998 and 1999, Duffey served as Sr. Manager of Consulting Services for Ascend Communications, overseeing Ascend’s consulting services for the Southeastern U.S. From 1996 to 1998, Duffey served as Sr. Program Manager for Intermedia Communications Government Contracts which generated more than $80M in annual revenue. Duffey also worked for Harris Corporation in 1995 and 1996 as a Sr. Software Engineer. Duffey holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Clemson University. |
| BOB DUPUIS, CHAIRMAN AND DIRECTOR
Robert Dupuis joined Cybera as a consultant and a member of the Board in January 2006. In September 2007 he was elected by the Board as its Chairman. Mr. Dupuis has over 25 years of technology business experience in both large and developing companies. He successfully led BlueStar communications from six employees to more than 900, while securing four rounds of private equity, over $300 million in vendor financing commitments, and overseeing its ultimate merger with Covad.
Prior to BlueStar, Mr. Dupuis held various global leadership and executive management roles at General Dynamics, Comsat and RMD, a wireless carrier in Latin America.
Mr. Dupuis has also acted as an advisor and/or Board member to numerous other technology companies and financial institutions including Brentwood Capital Advisors, Axonn, Accuship and Trackpoint Systems. |
| GEORGE SPENCER, DIRECTOR
Mr. Spencer serves as a consultant representing Adams Street Partners’ investment interests by providing ongoing support for select portfolio companies.
Mr. Spencer sits on the Boards of Directors of Convio, Cybera, E4X, Knightsbridge Solutions and SPS Commerce. He also led investments in Authoria (Hire.com), Cbeyond Communications (NASDAQ: CBEY) and Synchronoss (SNCR). |
| WRIGHT STEENROD, DIRECTOR
Wright joined Chrysalis in June 2001 and was promoted to Principal in 2005. At Chrysalis, Wright has worked with Ygnition, Genscape, and Appriss, among others. He focuses on media and communications.
Prior to Chrysalis, Wright was Vice President of Business Development for Darwin Networks, a former Chrysalis portfolio company. From 1995 to 1998, he worked at SunTrust Bank in Atlanta as an Associate in Mergers & Acquisitions. Prior to SunTrust, he served five years in the US Marine Corps from which he was honorably discharged as Captain.
Wright has a BA in Economics from Princeton University.
A Louisville native, Wright is active in the community working with organizations such as the Kentuckiana Boys and Girls Clubs. He currently serves as a member of the Entrepreneurship Council at the University of Louisville's College of Business and Public Affairs. |
